Night falls fast in Cambodia’s red-light district – with it come fear, danger and abuse. For the babies and toddlers born in the brothels, facing this kind of darkness alone is all they’ve ever known. More trauma night in, night out. 

However, the few little ones whose brave mums – like Chantrea*, Rifah*, and Anita* – carry them out of the darkness and across the street to our NightCare centre find a safe haven there. For them, when night falls fast in Cambodia’s red-light district – with it come safety, love, a healthy meal, a warm bath, clean clothes, play time and peaceful rest. Trauma-informed care night in, night out.
